Our editorial standard
Useful beats impressive. We explain the tradeoffs, show the math when it matters, and keep recommendations honest enough to survive contact with a real work week. A referral relationship does not make a product the right answer.
How software content is made
Each page identifies its method. Source-led pages use current first-party product, pricing, help, and policy material. Hands-on pages combine legitimate product access with the same source checks. We date the work, define the workflow reviewed, separate observed behavior from vendor claims, and exclude private customer or business information.
Who the site is for
The primary reader is a United States lawn care operator growing from an owner-led route into a one-to-five-crew company. Canadian and Australian availability is noted when a product source supports it, but pricing is presented in US dollars unless stated otherwise.
How updates and corrections work
Homeworks pricing and material product claims are checked monthly. Other comparisons are reviewed at least every 90 days and sooner when a source materially changes. We do not change dates cosmetically. To report an error, email editorial@lawncareoperator.com with the page URL and supporting source.
Referral relationships
Some relevant recommendations include referral compensation. Limitations and poor-fit cases remain part of the conclusion; see the full disclosure and software methodology.
